Art Terminology Guide

Art Jargon can be very baffling here are a few definitions that can help you, decide the art work most suited to your needs.
Giclées:- Giclée printing has transformed the quality of the Limited Edition Fine Art print market forever. Sophisticated printing and specially tested colourfast inks, quality paper and canvas, this blend of fine art and state of the art technology produces extraordinarily accurate reproductions.
Original Mixed-Media:- Hand-crafted by the artist using a variety of materials and techniques; each piece is therefore unique.
Hand-Embellishment:- A fine art print is produced and it is placed alongside the original; under the direction of the artist certain elements of the image are then highlighted with hand-applied paints. This is done to bring the piece closer to the depth of the original.
Hand enhancement:- The skillful hand-application of a high quality art varnish brings an added vitality to the finished image with stunning effect.
