Once upon a time Former Apple executive Michael Barnick decided to build his own dream house, worth 35 million dollars complete with connected devices and gadgets within the home automation industry.
From designing to founding a new business
Barnick started out with designing the contemporary house in 2005 with the notion of building one of the most state of the art and high tech houses in California.
Nearly 10 years later the house is finally finished, but since all of Barnick’s kids are grown up there really isn’t any need for the house anymore, so what better option than to sell it for 35 million dollars right?

According to Business Insider, Barnick didn’t really live in the home but he was actively working on the design of the house throughout the years.
It went as far as him learning so much about the integration of home automation that the former Apple executive decided to found Quantum Integration, a company that installs smart-home systems
